Green Grid Radio
Green Grid Radio is a student organization which produces radio shows focusing on environmental issues. We managed the whole producing cycle including brainstorm, interviews, editing, music and publishing( you can find us on podcast!) See below for some of the episodes that I produced!
Biofuels, or How GGR Learned about Popcorn-smelling Exhaust
Another producer and I decided to delve deeper into the biofuel conversation after EPA proposed to slash biofuel mandate in 2013. We started our journey following the life cycle of fats, oil and grease in San Francisco and along the way, we discovered a lot of interesting stories and very different perspectives from the biofuel community.
Getting Around – Hackathon Edition
Channeling the vibes of Silicon Valley, we held a 24 hour radio hackathon. (Channeling the vibes of real life, sleep was deemed mandatory). We had an environmental storytelling boot camp on Saturday morning, then we broke into teams to produce a 3 minute piece on the theme: Getting Around.
